Plastic hive is made of polypropylene copolimer with great mechanical strength.
The advantages of the plastic hive is:

keeps constant temperature inside the hive, protecting the bees from heat and cold because of the double wall. Has insulation in the walls of the middle so it is recommended for cold and hot climates due to the high protection that gives to the beehive. Test were made in Karpenisi (Greece) and Crete (Greece) showed excellent results at 18 months of operation and also in Russia, America and Australia.
Because of the protection provided within the hive we can have a very healthy and efficient bee enviroment. Bees do not need to carries large quantities of water to keep the hive cool in the summer or get tired to warm up the hive in winter.
